eudaemon for Android

An offline habit tracker that never asks for an account

Most habit apps want your email, sync your data to their servers and stop working when you lose signal. eudaemon does the opposite: everything runs on your device, offline, with no account and no tracking.

Offline is the default, not a fallback

eudaemon has no backend. Habits, to-do lists, diary entries, Pomodoro sessions, the 0 Days counter and your statistics are all computed and stored locally. That means the app is just as fast on a plane, on the metro or in a place with no coverage as it is at home.

Reminders are scheduled by your device's own alarm system, so notifications arrive on time even with no connection at all.

No account means nothing to leak

A habit tracker knows a lot about you: when you sleep, whether you exercise, what you are trying to quit, how you felt on a given day. That is exactly the kind of data that should not live on someone else's server.

  • No sign-up and no email address required.
  • No telemetry, no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers.
  • No ads anywhere in the app.
  • The only optional network request is a Gravatar avatar, and only if you choose to add one.

Your data stays yours, and portable

Local-only does not have to mean locked in. You can export the whole database to a file or folder of your choice, optionally protected with a password. Restore it on a new phone whenever you want. If you store that file in your own cloud folder, that is your decision, not a default we made for you.

A full toolkit, not a stripped-down offline mode

Working offline does not mean working with less. eudaemon includes six tools that work together:

  • Habits with five frequency modes: daily, weekly, monthly, interval and a custom cycle.
  • To-Do lists, usable on their own or linked to habits.
  • Pomodoro timer for focused study or work.
  • 0 Days Without, a counter for the habits you are trying to quit.
  • Diary with a calendar, mood tracking and Markdown.
  • Special Days for birthdays and anniversaries you cannot afford to forget (Premium).

Built to be light on your battery

eudaemon is built in Flutter and does no background syncing, so it does not sit there waking up your phone to talk to a server. Less network activity means less battery drain and a snappier app.

Frequently asked questions

Does eudaemon work without an internet connection?

Yes. Every feature works offline: creating habits, checking them off, the diary, the Pomodoro timer, statistics and reminders. There is no server to talk to, so the app behaves the same in airplane mode as it does on Wi-Fi.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login and no email required. You open the app and start tracking immediately.

Where is my data stored?

Everything is stored locally on your device. The developer never receives or sees your habits, diary entries or statistics.

Can I back up my data if everything is local?

Yes. You can export your database to a file or folder you choose, optionally encrypted with a password. The backup stays wherever you put it; the app never uploads it anywhere.

Does the app collect analytics or telemetry?

No. There is no third-party analytics, no tracking SDK and no ads.
