Appearance and navigation

Themes, colours, fonts, the bottom bar, the side menu and languages.

Appearance

Everything about the look is in one place:

Settings → Appearance

The section has three groups.

  • Theme & colours: light, dark or OLED, the primary and accent colours, Use system colours for the phone palette, and Premium theme for the catalogue.
  • Background: the animated backgrounds.
  • Text: Text size and Font.

Text size is free. So are three of the fonts. The rest of the catalogue is Premium.

The first launch asks you to pick a theme, a colour and the diary faces, and all three can be changed later from here.

Themes, colours, fonts and backgrounds

Three premium themes are already free. Premium adds the rest of the catalogue, unlimited primary and accent colours with a free colour picker, more fonts for the whole app, and the animated backgrounds.

Bottom bar

You choose which sections sit in the bottom bar:

Settings → App → Navigation

  • The sections that can go in the bar are Habits, To-Do, Diary, Calendar and Statistics. By default it holds Habits, To-Do and Calendar.
  • Every one of them, Habits included, can be moved or removed. The only rule is that at least one stays.
  • The bar takes five entries at most.
  • You reorder them by dragging.
  • Settings can never go in the bar. It stays in the menu.

Sections left out do not disappear: they stay in the side menu, where everything always is.

The section the app opens with

In Settings → App → Navigation you choose which section the app opens with.

From any other section, the back button or the back gesture takes you to that one, and only from there does it close the app.

Gestures

Settings → App → Navigation → Gestures

Here you turn swipes on and off:

  • Swipe days: a swipe right or left changes day in Habits.
  • in the Calendar, a swipe changes month, and on a day’s page it changes day.

The side menu

The side menu is a grid of tiles and always holds every section, including the ones in the bottom bar, as well as Achievements, 0 Days Without and Special Days.

The Tools folder gathers Pomodoro, Routine, Breathing, Water and Anti-stress.

Quick settings tiles

Pomodoro, Breathing, To-Do and Water can be opened from the Android quick settings, the panel you get by swiping down from the top of the screen. The tiles are free.

Languages

The app is available in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
