Water
A daily goal counted in glasses, as a habit like the others.
Water
Water is in the Tools folder of the side menu, and it is free.
You set how much you want to drink in a day and which glass to count with. The tool creates a daily habit that goes up by one at every glass.
Goal, glass and target
- The goal is how much you want to drink in a day, in millilitres or ounces.
- The glass is the unit you count with, not the amount you are drinking right now.
- The target is how many glasses the goal turns into. It is the number that ends up on the habit.
You can switch between millilitres and ounces at any time. Changing it does not touch anything you have already drunk.
The calculator
If you do not know which number to start from, the calculator proposes a goal from your weight.
The weight is used only for that calculation and is not saved anywhere.
The proposed goal is indicative. It is not health advice.
Glasses
There are five glasses: two ready-made, Glass (200 ml) and Bottle (500 ml), and up to three of your own, with the name and capacity you want.
If you drink an amount that matches none of them, you can type it in.
The water habit
What the tool creates is a habit like the others: you find it with yours, you can rename it, give it a reminder and see it in the statistics.
The screen shows a container that empties rather than a bar that fills: full means the day is still ahead, empty means it is done.
Water also opens from a tile in the Android quick settings. See Quick settings tiles.
