To-Do

Lists on their own, and checklists attached to a habit.

What To-Do lists are for

The To-Do section holds checklists you can use on their own, like a shopping list, or together with your habits.

Tap New list to start from scratch, pick a ready-made list, or reuse one you saved as a template.

Inside a list, tapping an item ticks it. Renaming, deleting and dragging appear only after you turn on the pencil at the top, Edit items. Next to it, a menu holds List name and description.

A list can be hidden, which is useful for lists you only use inside a habit and do not want in the section.

Where completed items go

By default a ticked item stays where it is. Two options change that:

Settings → App → Behaviour → To-Do behaviour

  • Move down after completion: ticked items sink to the bottom of the list.
  • Hide completed items: ticked items leave the list and are collected under a Completed row at the bottom, with the count next to it.

Both are off by default, and they apply to every list.

Nothing is deleted either way. The Completed row opens to show the items again, and unticking one puts it back in place.

Attaching a checklist to a habit

Open the habit editor and use the To-Do list field to pick a list.

From then on, tapping the habit progress button opens that checklist. The habit advances only once every item is ticked, and the panel closes by itself when you finish.

The original list stays untouched

The checklist you tick from a habit is tracked separately, for that habit and that day.

Your list in the To-Do section is not modified, and the habit checklist starts empty again each day.
